ISGR, International School of the Gothenburg Region, is an independent school located in central Gothenburg with two sections: the national section following the Swedish curriculum and the international section following the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The school has students from over 60 different nationalities. The students are taught by experienced and qualified staff who inspire students towards lifelong learning, encompassing diversity and the ability to explore the world.

The national section is now seeking a Teacher in Technology. The position is permanent with a 50% workload, starting August 10, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a teacher with eligibility to teach technology in grades 6-9. Eligibility in additional subjects is an advantage.

  • You have excellent subject knowledge.
  • You have a good ability to meet all students where they are.
  • You have the willingness and ability to collaborate with other colleagues.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a technology teacher with us, you inspire students to understand, explore, and influence the technological world they live in. Through practical projects, creative problem-solving, and construction work, students develop technical knowledge, collaboration skills, and hope for the future. You help them see how technology affects people, society, and the environment – and how they themselves can help shape the future. In close collaboration with colleagues and the student health team, you create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certified teacher in Technology, grades 6-9. Eligibility in additional subjects is an advantage.

SALARY

Fixed salary.
