ISGR, International School of the Gothenburg Region, is an independent school located in central Gothenburg with two sections: the national section following the Swedish curriculum and the international section following the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The national section is now seeking a Teacher in Technology. The position is permanent with a 50% workload, starting August 10, 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for you who are educated and certified as a teacher with eligibility to teach technology in grades 6-9. Eligibility in additional subjects is an advantage.
- You have excellent subject knowledge.
- You have a good ability to meet all students where they are.
- You have the willingness and ability to collaborate with other colleagues.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a technology teacher with us, you inspire students to understand, explore, and influence the technological world they live in. Through practical projects, creative problem-solving, and construction work, students develop technical knowledge, collaboration skills, and hope for the future. You help them see how technology affects people, society, and the environment – and how they themselves can help shape the future. In close collaboration with colleagues and the student health team, you create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified teacher in Technology, grades 6-9. Eligibility in additional subjects is an advantage.
SALARY
Fixed salary.
