About the role

As a communicator here, your main tasks involve producing, publishing, and distributing content across our digital channels. You will collaborate closely with the organization's communicators, project managers, and experts to highlight projects, activities, and results related to the energy transition.

This role suits you if you enjoy writing, photography, filming, and creating content for the web, social media, and newsletters. You are curious about people and ideas and enjoy transforming knowledge and experiences into content that engages and fosters understanding.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• producing content for the web, social media, and digital newsletters
• web publishing and social media posting
• articles and other editorial content
• basic photo and video production
• content for presentations, seminars, and events
• image management and basic graphic design

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

• a university degree in communication or equivalent experience.
• experience in communication work gained through employment, internships, projects, or volunteer roles.
• a structured work approach, curiosity, and a willingness to take responsibility for your tasks.
• good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).
• excellent proficiency in Swedish and good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for the web, social media, or newsletters.
• Experience with interviews and processing content into articles or other communication materials.
• Experience in photo or video production.
• Experience with publishing tools and digital communication channels.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools or similar software.

We are not looking for a finished expert. The most important qualities are curiosity, a desire to learn, and an interest in using text, images, and film to make complex issues understandable and interesting for various target groups.

About the position

• Part-time employment at 75% until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
• The working hours may change over time based on the organization's needs and development.
• Start date by agreement.
• Flexible workplace: At our offices in Arvika and Glava – or partially remote.

Glava Energy Center is an innovation cluster, an educational provider, and a member-driven association working towards a smart and sustainable energy system locally and regionally in Värmland and the Sweden–Norway border region. We drive various projects, networks, and initiatives related to the energy transition – including local energy management, energy communities, circular economy, education, test beds, and climate-smart solutions.

A key starting point is our desire to support our partners and member companies with knowledge that strengthens their ability to contribute to their own and society's energy transition. With several new projects and a growing membership, Glava Energy Center is developing as an organization. We are now looking for a communicator who wants to grow with us.
