About the job

The principal's area of Näsbyparksskolan in Täby Municipality consists of four schools: Näsbyparksskolan (grades 4–9), Slottsparksskolan (Preschool–grade 3), Norskolan (Preschool–grade 3), and Näsbypark Resource School (grades 4–9). The schools work closely together with a shared vision for learning and development under the leadership of the principal. The schools are located in the Näsbypark area in Täby, a beautiful natural area with good transport links to Stockholm via the Roslagsbanan railway. We are now looking for another teacher to join our competent staff group.

You will be part of Näsbyparksskolan, a school with approximately 600 students in grades 4–9. The teaching will primarily be focused on grades 7–9, but grades 4–6 may also be relevant. The school has high goals for students' development and knowledge acquisition and works with structured, equitable teaching where students can have influence over their own learning. Näsbyparksskolan also works with IBIS (Inclusive Behavioral Support), a concept to strengthen students' positive behaviors so that the learning environment, as well as the psychosocial environment, promotes students' learning and well-being.

As a teacher with us, you drive and develop teaching together with students, colleagues, and school leadership. You work actively for a school where everyone is included in the operations. You will be part of a competent subject group in Physical Education and Health, where there is a strong collegial collaboration. Mentorship is included in the role.

Who are you?

We want you, as the applicant for the position:

• have teacher certification and are qualified to teach Physical Education and Health. Preferably with qualifications in, or an interest in, teaching Mathematics.
• work both formatively and language-developing.
• are well acquainted with the steering documents and can translate these into learning that is understandable and meaningful for students.
• use digital tools for students' learning.
• see the whole student's study situation in your mentorship and collaborate with student health services where needed.

As a person, you are structured, well-planned, and enthusiastic in your teaching. You are collaboration-oriented and interested in contributing to the professional development of the operations. You have the ability to plan and organize both your own work and the students' work in an effective way and create a trusting classroom climate where all students are heard.

We would prefer that you have worked as a teacher for a few years, but newly graduated teachers are also welcome to apply for the position.
