The Role

The role involves being a mentor and teacher in a mixed-age class (grades 4-6). Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning teaching: Developing lessons and teaching materials suitable for both younger and older students.
• Focusing on differentiated instruction: Adapting teaching to students' individual needs and knowledge levels.
• Support and guidance: Providing support to students as needed.

You will work closely with students, guardians, staff, and school leadership to contribute to a safe and developmental school environment. Requirements

Requirements

• Teacher's degree or other education assessed by the employer as equivalent.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• Experience with documentation.

Merits

• Previous work as a teacher or in another school role.
• Experience working with children and young people.
• Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD), language disorders, and other related areas.

Welcome to Edsbro School!

We are a small F–6 school in Norrtälje Municipality where security, community, and good relationships are in focus. Here, students have the opportunity to develop in an environment where they are seen and where collaboration between students, staff, and guardians is a natural part of everyday life.

Edsbro School has just over 55 students. At the school, we work to create an inclusive and developmental learning environment where students are given the conditions to succeed in their schooling.

Employment type, extent, and start date

• Employment type: Temporary position (substitute) for the school year 2026–2027.
• Extent: Full-time.
• Start date: 2026-08-10.

For this role, the starting salary is normally between 38,000 and 42,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
