The Position and Responsibilities

We are looking for a substitute Teacher in After-School Programs (Fritidshem) with diabetes responsibility for the upcoming school year.

The role involves working as a collaborator in the classroom during the school day and in the after-school program during the afternoons. It is important that you have extensive experience in being responsible for a student and their diabetes throughout the entire school day. This means coordinating, following up, and ensuring that the student's diabetes care functions safely and securely during school hours, in collaboration with guardians, student health services, and other staff.

We want to develop the after-school program to provide students and employees with a safe and creative working environment. Therefore, we are looking for you who want to work with pedagogical development and the organization of after-school activities. You are proactive in planning, implementing, and evaluating the various parts of the after-school program based on current regulatory documents and the school's development areas.

Daily tasks include planning, implementing, evaluating, and ensuring a high-quality pedagogical activity that creates context for the students' entire school day.

You Who Apply to Us

Requirements: We are looking for you who are educated as a Teacher in After-School Programs with a teaching license.

You have extensive knowledge/experience of working with primary school students who have diabetes.

You have knowledge and experience of working with a low-affective handling style and a solution-focused approach.

Merits: Experience of working in the after-school program's assignment according to Lgr22, experience of inclusive learning environments, as well as education or experience within NPF (Neurodevelopmental Disorders), digital tools, and development work. We also view positively experience of leading activities that promote students' social development, creativity, safety, and movement.

To succeed in the role, you must be structured, stable, safe, and relationship-building.
