Rösjöskolan is located in Edsberg, close to nature reserves and Lake Rösjön. Approximately 420 students from preschool class to grade 6 attend the school. We offer school and after-school activities for students in comprehensive school, adapted comprehensive school, and preparatory classes. The school environment creates all prerequisites for movement, learning, and health, and our staff is driven by making a difference and creating conditions for every student to reach as far as possible in their knowledge development. The compensatory mission is significant, and the school actively works to create a socially and academically promoting environment.

This is a 100% temporary position during the autumn term of 2026, with a possible extension.

Responsibilities

As a teacher in grade 2, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with the goals and guidelines of the curriculum. You create clear structures and good learning environments where students are given security, study peace, and the opportunity to develop based on their individual prerequisites.

The role involves working on language development, making adjustments based on students' needs, and continuously monitoring their knowledge development through documentation and assessment. You communicate regularly with guardians and build trusting relationships that support students' learning and social development.

You collaborate closely with colleagues in the grade, the work team, the after-school center, special education teachers, the Student Health Team (EHT), and school management. Together, you develop common working methods and structures that benefit students' learning. At Rösjöskolan, we have a shared expectation that everyone helps each other, shares, and enables each other in daily work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher for lower primary school with qualifications in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, mathematics, and English. You have good competence in early reading and writing development and experience in working with adjustments and meeting students with different needs.

You are a structured, secure, and clear educator who leads teaching with stable and present leadership. You have a relationship-building approach and build sustainable relationships with both students and guardians. You thrive in a work team where responsibility is shared, teaching is developed together, and you work closely with the Student Health Team.

You use digital tools in both teaching and documentation and actively contribute to common structures and working methods.

Requirements

• Certified teacher for grades F–3 or on the path to obtaining certification
• Qualifications in Swedish as a second language, Swedish, English, and mathematics for lower primary school
• Competence in early reading and writing development
