The Role

You are warmly welcome to apply for a position at our fantastic school, Norrgärdsskolan, located in central Norrtälje. This is a role for you who has previous experience as a primary school teacher for intermediate grades (grades 4-6) and has a desire to influence students' conditions to reach as far as possible in their development.

Norrgärdsskolan is a municipal school for grades F-6, spread across two buildings (formerly Grindskolan and Parkskolan) in Norrtälje town, with large, lovely grassy areas and small forest areas nearby. We have approximately 470 students at the school, and despite Norrgärdsskolan being a large school, the feeling is one of small-scale intimacy. We work in year-level teams (school and leisure time) with joint responsibility for the students.

We are looking for you who are a teacher with certification for teaching intermediate grades in Swedish and/or Visual Arts. You are well-acquainted with the school's governing documents and have good skills in verbal and written communication. You are flexible and have good collaboration skills. You easily create good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, colleagues, the school's student health team, and school leadership. We are looking for you who are a clear leader and have the ability to create security through clear structure and varied teaching. You have a professional and positive attitude and can see challenges as opportunities.

Employment type, extent, and start date

For this role, the starting salary is normally between 42,000 SEK and 48,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.

In the case of permanent employment, a probationary period may apply.
