RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building teacher for the Introduction Programme in Hallstahammar.

You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on students' individual needs, prerequisites, and goals. Teaching takes place in close collaboration with colleagues and is designed with a focus on creating motivation, participation, and hope for the future among students.

The role includes supporting students' knowledge development in various subjects and working to develop language and knowledge in teaching. Competence in Swedish as a second language is therefore meritorious and seen as a valuable asset in working with our student group.

As a mentor, you follow students' development both academically and socially. You have regular contact with guardians and collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and other professionals to create the best conditions for each student to succeed.

We are looking for you who want to work closely with students, build relationships, and find creative paths to learning. On our introduction programme, we make a difference together every day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a certified teacher for primary and/or secondary school
• have a strong commitment to young people's learning and development
• work in a structured manner and have good skills in planning, implementing, and following up on teaching based on regulatory documents
• have a language and knowledge-developing approach to work
• are flexible, creative, and solution-focused
• are a secure and courageous pedagogical leader
• have good skills in building relationships and trust with students, guardians, and colleagues
• enjoy working both independently and in close collaboration with others
• actively contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration regarding students' learning and well-being

Meritorious

• qualifications or experience in Swedish as a second language
• experience working with newly arrived students
• experience working within the introduction programme
