KYOCERA Fastening Solutions Sweden AB has been present in Sweden since 1980. In 2019, we became part of the global group KYOCERA, division Industrial Tools Europe. KYOCERA Corporation, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, has been active since 1959.

KYOCERA's brands include SENCO, TJEP, CAMO, and STINGER. Over the next few years, new products will be launched, and together with an expanded product portfolio, they will give our customers access to one of the market's best, most complete, and innovative product programs for fastening solutions.

At our headquarters in Strängnäs, we are approximately 17 people working within warehousing, service, and administration. We collaborate closely between departments and have a relaxed and positive atmosphere. We also have sales representatives spread across the country working remotely.

WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT FOR OUR ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities

You will register supplier invoices, process supplier payments, and be responsible for accounts receivable, including payments and reminders. Setting up new suppliers and customers in the business system is also part of the role. During month-end closing, you will assist with account reconciliations, internal routines, and reports to the parent company. Payroll administration may also be included depending on experience.

This role also includes handling our sister companies in Norway and Finland.

Qualifications

As an accounting assistant here, you will play a central role in the accounting department, as it consists of only this position and the Accounting Manager.

To succeed in this role, you must be meticulous, structured, analytical, and self-motivated. The workload can sometimes be high, so it is required that you are efficient and can keep your cool in stressful situations. It is a great advantage if you enjoy challenges, as we work in an international group where new changes occur continuously, which also requires you to learn new tasks easily. We value good communication skills and place high importance on loyalty and work ethic. We assume you have good knowledge of Excel.

We expect you to have relevant education or several years of work experience in similar tasks. Perhaps you currently work at an accounting firm? You must master both spoken and written Swedish and English, as English is our corporate language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or understanding of VAT declarations
  • Periodic reporting/summaries
  • Experience with the SAP business system
