Description

Utbynässkolan is a preschool class to year 3 school with approximately 200 students and around 25 employees, including the student health team (EHT). It is a small and secure school with close proximity to nature and our school forest. The premises have been newly renovated with a completely new school cafeteria and gymnasium. The schoolyard has also recently been upgraded with new play equipment. At the school, we have an open climate and, together with our ambitious students and engaged parents, we collaborate with a clear goal orientation to create security and well-being for the students.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an engaged and secure teacher for year 1. As a teacher with us, you are part of a work team where you together plan, implement, follow up, and develop the teaching. You are responsible for creating varied, accessible, and enjoyable teaching with the students' knowledge development and well-being in focus.

The assignment includes teaching, mentoring, and close collaboration with students, guardians, colleagues, student health services, and other staff. You document and follow up on the students' development and actively contribute to the systematic quality work.

Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that all students are given good conditions to achieve the goals of the curriculum. You see the school's entire mission and contribute to common goals, a good working climate, and a secure learning environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with eligibility for preschool class to year 3. Eligibility in mathematics, Swedish, social studies (So), natural sciences (No), technology, and English is required. Eligibility in French is meritorious. You who apply have experience working with children with functional variations.

You are secure in your pedagogical leadership and have experience meeting students in need of support, adaptations, and special interventions.

You are team-oriented and actively contribute to a respectful working climate and a good work environment. You communicate professionally, are sensitive to your surroundings, and have the ability to understand and meet different needs.

You work independently and proactively in your teaching, while also seeing the value of joint planning, collegial learning, and collaboration in the work team. You take responsibility for joint tasks and actively participate in the school's development work.
