We are looking for a Platform Engineer for an exciting government project

Job Description

As a Platform Engineer within the government agency's container platform team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining both new and existing platform environments. The role includes designing and introducing technical solutions, configuration, automation, as well as troubleshooting and further developing the platform.

You will work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure a modern, stable, and efficient platform. Environmental scanning, continuous improvement, and automation are natural parts of the work. The assignment also includes contributing to the team's competence development through knowledge sharing, guidance, and support to more junior colleagues.

Required Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience working as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• The consultant must have at least 2 years of documented experience in training, mentoring, or otherwise conveying knowledge to groups or individuals.
• Experience and competence in OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience and competence in GitOps.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience with modern Observability tools.
• Knowledge of Container Networking (CNI).
• Knowledge of Container Storage and Software-Defined Storage (SDS).
• Knowledge of security in container platforms.
• Knowledge of Golang and/or Python.
• Experience in developing Kubernetes operators.
• Experience working with CI/CD workflows.

Desirable Competencies

• Documented experience working within a government agency or another comparable organization.
