Job Description

Assignment Description
As a Platform Engineer in a team responsible for a container platform, you work with developing, implementing, and managing both new and existing platform environments. The role includes designing and introducing technical solutions, configuration, automation, troubleshooting, and further development of the platform.

You collaborate closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure a modern, stable, and efficient platform. Environmental scanning, continuous improvements, and automation are central parts of the work. The role also includes knowledge sharing, mentoring, and support to less experienced colleagues.

Qualifications (Required)

• At least 4 years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• At least 2 years of documented experience in education, mentoring, or other knowledge transfer to groups or individuals.
• Experience and competence in OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience and competence in GitOps.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience with modern observability tools.
• Knowledge of container networking (CNI).
• Knowledge of container storage and Software-Defined Storage (SDS).
• Knowledge of security in container platforms.
• Knowledge of Golang and/or Python.
• Experience developing Kubernetes operators.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable Competencies (Preferred)

• Documented experience working in the public sector or other comparable operations.

Assignment Period

• Start: According to agreement after completed security clearance or equivalent control.
• End: Latest by 2028-08-30.
• Extension possibilities exist.
