As an Infrastructure Technician, you will work within IT operations with a focus on storage and backup platforms in a modern, hybrid, and rapidly evolving infrastructure environment. The position is located within a large public sector IT organization that is undergoing a transformation phase where a new private cloud platform is being implemented and put into operation.

The role involves operational and proactive responsibility for the operation, management, and further development of the organization's storage and backup solutions. The focus is on stability, availability, and secure handling of business-critical data in a complex IT environment.

You will work closely with other operations teams and infrastructure specialists, contributing to ensuring that backup and storage solutions function efficiently, are optimized, and comply with current procedures and security requirements. The work also includes troubleshooting, incident management, improvement initiatives, and participation in change and development projects related to the platforms.

The environment is primarily based on enterprise solutions for storage and backup, with a focus on NetApp-based storage solutions and Commvault as the central backup platform.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in operating and managing NetApp-based storage solutions
• Knowledge of storage and backup in enterprise environments
• Experience with Commvault, preferably Core Enablement (MSP environment)
• Documented experience in technical IT operations
• Very good Swedish skills in both spoken and written form

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dell Information Storage and Management (v5)
• Experience with Data Domain
• Experience with Jira as an incident management system
• Experience with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum or Kanban)
