Lärcentrum Markaryd is now developing the assistant nurse education within municipal adult education. The education has previously been conducted in collaboration with an external actor, and we are now looking for an engaged and experienced vocational teacher who wants to help build, shape, and develop the education for the future.

Responsibilities

As a vocational teacher in care and nursing, you work to ensure that students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for future work in care and nursing. You support, motivate, and challenge students based on their individual prerequisites and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

In the role, you are responsible for the planning, implementation, assessment, and follow-up of the teaching. At the same time, you become an important part of building the education and get the opportunity to influence content, methods, and structures.

The responsibilities include among other things:

• Planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in care and nursing subjects
• Mentorship and support to students throughout the education
• Collaboration with working life regarding workplace-based learning (APL)
• Development of the education's content, routines, and methods

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are primarily a certified vocational teacher with the qualification to teach in care and nursing
• alternatively have other education or documented experience in care & nursing that we assess as equivalent.
• have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Merits

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience of teaching in adult education, upper secondary school, or equivalent
• good digital competence and experience using digital tools for communication and pedagogy
• experience of workplace-based learning (APL)

Employment type: Permanent, holiday service.

Scope: Full-time.
