Viks School is looking for substitute leisure-time staff/childcare assistants.
Viks School is a municipal school with a cultural focus. The school is located approximately 6 km east of Gustavsberg in an older area near the forest and the sea. Viks School is a K-6 school with approximately 520 students and 80 employees.

Viks School consists of 6 leisure-time home departments as well as a club activity for the older students.

Job Description
Your role as leisure-time staff in this case involves supporting individual students and student groups during the school day. You are also part of the responsibility for planning, implementation, and evaluation of the leisure-time activities during the afternoon operations. The position involves close collaboration with the class teacher in the class you work in, as well as collaboration within a work team with other leisure-time staff.
We are looking for you who are preferably trained as a childcare assistant or have other education relevant to the position, and who have experience working to support students in learning and interaction during the school day and at the leisure-time home. You will support individual students and groups of students in learning situations, during breaks, in transitions between activities, and in ongoing activities. You have a burning interest in development and learning, and a conscious pedagogical and flexible working method where student participation and responsibility are a given. You are used to taking responsibility and are a good role model for children, parents, and colleagues. You are a present educator who finds it easy to collaborate with staff and guardians, and you can focus on your assignment. For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

The employment is full-time and is a temporary position, primarily until December 18. Start date August 17.
The position may be filled on the condition that our current employee gets accepted into the applied education.
