Job Responsibilities

With us at Ward 91, you become part of something bigger. You are welcomed to an stimulating and developmental workplace within the county's shared resources, where we work close to the addiction clinic and are part of the highly specialized adult psychiatry in Västmanland.

As a nursing assistant (skötare) with us, you have an important role in the daily work with patients and work closely together with a dedicated team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and coordinators. Collaboration is a given here – we support each other, share knowledge, and work towards the same goal.

About the Workplace

Ward 91 is a general psychiatric emergency ward with an addiction focus, where we primarily work with withdrawal treatment for patients with comorbidity within psychiatry, addiction, and somatic medicine. Through close collaboration with Addiction Center Västmanland and the outpatient care in the county, we create a secure and patient-safe care for patients with complex needs.

Right now, we are in an exciting development phase with an expansion to 12 care beds and a broader mandate. Qualifications

We are looking for you who are educated as a nursing assistant (skötare) or assistant nurse (undersköterska) with a focus on psychiatry and have experience of working within psychiatry, preferably inpatient care. Experience of addiction care, MI (motivational interviewing), or the medical record system Cosmic is meritorious.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and thrive with patient contact, collaboration, and documentation. As a person, you are secure, empathetic, and communicative. You work well together with others, keep your calm even in challenging situations, and thrive in a daily life where the pace can be high and no day is like the other. We believe that you like to contribute ideas, see opportunities in change, and want to develop the operation together with us.

Permanent position. Full-time (day, evening, night).
