Job Description

We offer you meaningful work in a varied and stimulating work environment. Your role includes assessment interviews, treatment, and some investigation with individuals aged 18 and older. You will conduct therapeutic and psychological treatments individually as well as via internet-based CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and digital healthcare meetings.

You will work both independently and in teams with other staff categories at the health center. You have the opportunity to shape your role according to existing conditions. Interest in participating in various projects and improvement areas within the operations is welcome.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the Health Center Emergency Clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with its own board and Region Västmanland as the owner. We share the common name, Närvården Västmanland, and we work together to provide our patients with the best primary care in the county. We continuously invest in developing our workplaces to meet the primary care needs of the future.

The health center is centrally located in Hallstahammar, and the operations also have a branch clinic in Kolbäck. Parking is available adjacent to the health center, along with good bus connections to, among other places, Västerås.

We are responsible for approximately 12,350 registered patients and offer doctor and district nurse clinics, maternal and child health care, as well as rehabilitation with a physiotherapist and counseling services. Dietitians, health centers, and occupational therapists are also present at the health center on certain days of the week.

Qualifications

You have a license as a psychologist and preferably a few years of experience in the profession. Previous experience working with this target group and primary care-adapted psychological treatment is meritorious. We use the Cosmic system in our daily work and therefore value previous experience with this medical record system. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You have high social competence and are good at establishing contact with other people. You are interested in development work and thrive in designing, implementing, and evaluating working methods both within your own professional category and in collaboration with other professional categories.

Employment Terms

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date in September or as agreed.
