We are currently looking for 75 new colleagues to join the care and social services team in Arboga Municipality for the summer of 2026!

Your responsibilities

You help and support our care recipients with personal care, transfers, meals, and service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. You document in our systems and collaborate with colleagues to provide the best possible support.

At our workplace, you work closely with people and make a difference every day. You support care recipients in their daily lives – on their terms and based on their needs. We meet every person with respect, self-determination, and integrity.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are calm, secure, and easy to work with.
• Have a professional attitude characterized by respect and empathy.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and computer skills.
• Are at least 18 years old at the start of employment.
• Have a B-category driver's license and/or can cycle (for some positions).

Merits:

Education or experience within care is considered a merit. Completed web-based training in "Dementia ABC" and the ability to work throughout the entire summer are also considered merits.

Conditions

• Summer temporary positions, fixed-term employment during the period June–August 2026.
• Workload: varying, day/evening/night shifts and every other weekend.
• Hourly temporary positions: Register your availability in the Time Care Pool. You will be booked for shifts via SMS and must be able to arrive at the workplace within 30 minutes of receiving a booking.
• Start date by agreement.

Documents you need

• If you are a trained nursing assistant or care assistant, we request that you bring your diploma/study certificate to any interview.
• Diploma from completed training regarding "Basic Hygiene Procedures in Care and Social Services". (See the National Board of Health and Welfare's website).
• Extract from the Police Register of Offenses – The extract must be valid for work with the elderly and persons with disabilities. Ordered from the police.
• Valid ID at the interview (one of the following):
  • Swedish ordinary passport (provisional passport is not valid as ID).
  • Swedish national ID card.
  • Swedish driver's license.
  • Swedish SIS-marked ID card.
  • ID card for residents registered in Sweden.
• To work with us, you must have the right to work in Sweden (work permit). This can be through Swedish citizenship, citizenship in the EU/EEA or Switzerland, or a valid residence or work permit. You must be able to show valid documents proving this.
