Job Responsibilities

As a casual worker, you have the opportunity to make a difference every day and work where the need is greatest. You can work within healthcare and social care, social psychiatry, meal services, or facility maintenance, and your tasks will vary depending on the department.

This may involve providing daily support, personal care, and activities within healthcare and social care, cooking and serving food, or keeping facilities clean and pleasant. Within social psychiatry, you can support individuals with mental disabilities in their daily lives and activities.

The work is flexible and can be combined with studies or other commitments. Working hours may vary between day, evening, weekend, and sometimes night. For some areas, such as schools and preschools, a certificate of good conduct is required. As a casual worker, high flexibility is required, as you may be contacted with short notice for work.

Qualifications

You have a pedagogical and motivating approach and enjoy building good relationships. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as documentation is a natural part of the job. Previous experience in the area you are applying for is viewed positively but is not a requirement.

If you work with children or in short-term housing for children, a police record extract is required. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Information Regarding Employment

During the interview process, you will need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a population registration certificate together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
