We are looking for a School Nurse at Munktorpsskolan in Köping

Munktorpsskolan is a school where we work together and contribute with knowledge and experience to develop the operations into a place where both students and staff feel they can succeed. We are a parallel F-6 school with 163 students. We have two after-school centers and open activities for students in grades 4–6.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work in a health-promoting and preventive manner to support students' health, safety, and development. You will be part of the school's student health team (EHT) and contribute medical expertise to the school's work at the individual, group, and organizational levels. The role includes conducting health visits, health conversations, and vaccinations. You will follow students' health development and the school environment, collaborating with school staff, guardians, and external actors to create good conditions for students' learning and well-being.

The position involves an important and responsible assignment within the school's medical student health care, in close collaboration with the student health team. You will also be part of the municipality's school nurse group within the education administration, where the work is carried out in close cooperation to ensure equal medical student health care in the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse, school nurse, or within child and adolescent health care. You are responsible, independent, and have a good ability to plan and carry out your work. You collaborate well with students, guardians, and colleagues, and actively contribute to the school's health-promoting and preventive work.

The position is a permanent employment at 40-50 percent with a start date as agreed.
