Our Health Team is an active group that ensures we have activities planned in our health calendar. New fun activities every month and recurring challenges are on the agenda.
Job Responsibilities
As an occupational therapist with us at the Rehabilitation Unit, you will have a varied job as we work with both inpatient and outpatient care. We work with general medicine wards with 24-hour operations (heart and lung diseases as well as gastrointestinal and liver diseases, as well as kidney and blood diseases), an acute care unit, an acute stroke unit, and rehabilitation wards focusing on stroke, orthopedics, and geriatrics. The Rehabilitation Unit also has assignments towards various clinics, including dialysis and advanced home care (AH). We also conduct rehabilitation in the home environment in the form of an external stroke team as well as outpatient rehabilitation in teams for people with stroke and other acquired brain injuries.
Work as an occupational therapist at the Rehabilitation Unit includes, among other things, ADL assessments/training, assistive device testing, information and counseling, leading rehabilitation rounds, and handing over patients to the municipality and primary care. At the Rehabilitation Unit, we assess and analyze activity capacity based on evidence and proven experience and perform measures based on the individual's needs.
