Job Responsibilities

We offer a varied role as a dental hygienist assistant (tandsköterska), including assisting, sterilization, and reception duties. Independent prophylaxis work with child and adolescent patients is also part of the role. In your position, you will meet patients of all ages, so it is important that you thrive on variety where no two days are alike. A clear patient focus, good customer service, and high quality should characterize the experience with us. You take significant responsibility in your work but are also an integral part of the clinic's team of hygienists, dentists, and dental assistants. Together, we help our patients with their oral health and create quality of life.

About the Workplace

At Folktandvården Adelsö, there are currently 6 dentists, 2 dental hygienists, and 13 dental assistants. At Folktandvården Adelsö, you will belong to a team consisting of one dentist, one hygienist, one assisting dental assistant, and one prophylaxis dental assistant. During parts of your workday, you will work in various shifts together with all professional categories in your team, and on certain days, you will perform sterilization and reception duties. Together, we help our patients with their oral health and create quality of life. Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a dental assistant degree or are at the end of your studies, and you have an aptitude for collaboration and building good relationships. Quality and efficiency characterize your work. You work with a high level of ambition and value understanding, respect, and consideration. Furthermore, it is our hope that you, like us, enjoy constantly developing yourself and others. You should be a person who is willing to take initiative and is flexible. The ability to see the big picture in the workplace is an important trait for us at Adelsö.

Since you communicate with patients, relatives, colleagues, and in some cases authorities in your work, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Employment Conditions

Permanent, full-time. Commencement upon agreement.
