Combine clinical work with development tasks – become our lead supervisor

Responsibilities

As the lead supervisor, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on students' practice-based education (VFU). You serve as a support to colleagues in their supervisory roles and actively contribute to creating a safe and developmental learning environment. The role also involves collaboration with universities and participation in development work related to supervision and competence supply.

The assignment takes place in close dialogue with the operations unit to create good conditions for receiving students. In the role of lead supervisor, you work approximately 1–2 days per week on average, but the scope may vary over time depending on needs. The remaining time is spent in clinical work as a nurse on the Infectious Diseases Department.

Qualifications

We are looking for a registered nurse with several years of experience, who is confident in their professional role and contributes with security, stability, and trust in daily work. You have previous experience supervising students and are comfortable guiding others in their learning.

You have good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and can adapt your working methods to the needs of both the operations unit and the students.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in the role of lead supervisor
• Experience with the medical record system Cosmic
• Interest in infectious diseases

As a person, you are structured and flexible, with a good ability to plan and prioritize. You have a holistic perspective and are clear in your communication. You build good relationships, thrive in teamwork, and have the ability to give constructive feedback.

You are solution-focused and have a desire to develop both the operations unit and the supervisory assignment, while being confident in switching between clinical work and the role of lead supervisor.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

Employment Terms

Permanent employment in the core profession. The lead supervisor appointment is for 2 years.

Working hours: Rotation service.
