Registered Doctor – Locum Tenens with Opportunity for Specialist Training in General Practice

Do you see your future within primary care and wish to work in Region Västmanland? We are now looking for a registered doctor, with the possibility of future specialist training (ST) in general practice.

Here, you will work alongside dedicated colleagues in an environment where collaboration and development are natural parts of everyday life. As a doctor here, you will have your own patient list, which contributes to good continuity and the opportunity to follow patients over time.

The role involves examining, investigating, assessing, and treating patients. You will encounter a broad spectrum of general medicine, including both scheduled and urgent visits. You are an integral part of the practice and contribute to developing our working methods and the quality of care.

During your time with us, you will receive excellent support in your role. You will have access to supervision and work closely with experienced colleagues. For the right candidate, there are good opportunities to transition into a specialist training position in general practice in the long term.

About You

• Registered doctor with Swedish medical license
• Interest in general practice and primary care
• Collaborative spirit who contributes to a good work environment
• Responsible and flexible

Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 are required, as you need to communicate effortlessly with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Personal suitability is highly valued.
