Do you have a few years of experience as a District Nurse/Registered Nurse or have you previously worked at a health center? Then you are very interesting to us and we welcome your application!

Responsibilities

You will perform standard district nurse/registered nurse duties, including telephone advice and digital consultations via 1177 Direct, your own planned clinic sessions, and care coordination. The work is varied, and we meet patients of all ages with different needs. The role of district nurse/registered nurse means being able to collaborate in a team with several of the health center's professions and functions, aiming for good care, excellent service, and the best possible health for the individual. All our employees are expected to actively participate in development work, and you will work both independently and in a team with the rest of the staff at the health center.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with its own board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the primary care of the future.

Närvården Herrgärdet is a well-established clinic in the center of Västerås. We are responsible for approximately 12,450 registered patients, and our clinic includes doctor and district nurse clinics, maternal and child health care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, as well as a counselor and dietitian. Since all professional categories for a health center are gathered in the same building, we can offer our patients professional care.

We want our employees to thrive, feel good, and develop with us at Närvården Herrgärdet, which is why we strive to offer secure employment with good benefits and fair conditions. More about your benefits can be found here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ (https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/)

Qualifications

You who apply are a licensed registered nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse, or alternatively a basic registered nurse education, preferably with a few years of experience in primary care and working at a health center. We also see an advantage if you have diabetes training or health conversation leader training for 50, 60, and 70-year-olds. We value previous experience with telephone advice and clinic work. If you have experience with the medical record system Cosmic, it is an advantage, and you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You are secure, stable, and relationship-building with both patients and colleagues. You have the knowledge and ability to work independently, even though colleagues are available for questions and support. You are stress-resistant and used to prioritizing your tasks. We encourage driven and development-oriented employees who, together with us, want to continue developing our workplace and our routines in the best way! Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.
