Job Responsibilities

The work is varied and includes, among other things, assessing health issues during scheduled appointments, telephone advice, or digitally via 1177 DigiCare. We offer health and care in all stages of life, working together with the patient in focus.

You will work both independently and in a team. We are proud to welcome you to a close-knit work group where we help and support each other. We also have coaching, developmental, and present leadership to support you. Improvement work for the entire health center is an important part of the daily work.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and their emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in developing our workplaces to meet the primary care of the future.

Närvården Bäckby-Råby is a growing health center with a branch in Råby. We are responsible for just over 11,350 registered patients. Our unit includes doctor and district nurse clinics, several types of specialist clinics, maternal and child health care, as well as a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and counselors. Great importance is placed on preventive work, and we also offer help with risk and substance abuse issues. Long-term planning for continuity and stability for patients is key, where our rehabilitation coordinator is an important part of the team to help patients move forward to meaningful lives as much as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a district nurse, or alternatively a basic licensed nurse with substantial experience as a nurse and an interest in primary care. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and preferably experience with the medical record system Cosmic.

Casual employment with start date as agreed.
