Combine clinical work with development tasks – become our lead supervisor

Do you want to take the next step in your role as a nurse while contributing to future competence supply? Here, you have a unique opportunity to combine your clinical work with an important assignment where you support and develop both students and colleagues.

Responsibilities

As a lead supervisor, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on students' practice-based education (VFU). You support colleagues in their supervisory role and actively contribute to creating a safe and developmental learning environment. The role also involves collaboration with universities and participation in development work related to supervision and competence supply.

The assignment takes place in close dialogue with the operations to create good conditions for receiving students. In the role of lead supervisor, you work approximately 1–2 days per week on average, but the extent may vary over time depending on needs. The rest of the time, you work clinically as a nurse on the Infectious Diseases Department.

Qualifications

We are looking for a registered nurse with several years of experience, who is confident in their professional role and contributes with security, stability, and trust in daily work. You have previous experience supervising students and feel comfortable guiding others in their learning.

You have good ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish and can adapt your working method to the needs of both the operations and the students.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in the role of lead supervisor
• Experience with the medical record system Cosmic
• Interest in infectious diseases

As a person, you are structured and flexible, with a good ability to plan and prioritize. You have a holistic perspective and are clear in your communication. You build good relationships, enjoy teamwork, and have the ability to give constructive feedback.

You are solution-focused and have a desire to develop both the operations and the supervisory assignment, while being confident in switching between clinical work and the role of lead supervisor.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Employment Terms

Permanent employment in the core profession. The lead supervisor appointment is for 2 years.

Working hours: Rotational service.
