We are now hiring 3 nurses for our health and medical care unit!

Job Responsibilities

In the role of a nurse, we emphasize the importance of preventive work to promote the patient's health and well-being. The work takes place in close dialogue with the patient and relatives, where you form good and safe care. A special responsibility lies in planning, following up, assessing, and addressing healthcare measures. You will be responsible for assessments, documentation, and registration in various quality registers. We document in the medical record systems Cosmic and Lifecare.

You will be part of the team working towards our five special housing facilities for the elderly. At the special housing facility where you will have your main placement, you will be in a team with a nursing colleague but also have good cooperation with occupational therapists and physiotherapists. You will be part of a management team with the unit manager and team leader at the facility.

In the evenings and on weekends, you work towards the entire target group of the health and medical care unit, which also includes home healthcare for ordinary housing as well as our LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) operations.

The position also includes mentoring students and nursing staff. As a nurse with us, you are an important ambassador for inspiration, motivation, and engagement.

The job responsibilities include working with other actors, and you will have close cooperation with, among others, health centers, relatives, and staff in the patient's surroundings.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse.
• Knowledge of current legislation and focused on patient safety.
• Good IT skills for documentation and quality work.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Hold a B-driving license.

As a person, you are engaged and have a positive attitude. You are solution-focused while being flexible and able to work independently. You have good communication skills.

Meritorious:

• Specialized education in dementia, geriatrics, or psychiatry.
• Experience working with dementia diseases, geriatrics, or psychiatry.
• Experience working in a municipal operation.
• Training in low-affective handling.

We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We would like you to have experience of collaborating with other actors around the patient as well as working in the team close to the patient.
