About the role

As a nursing assistant at SOLOM, you help create a secure, meaningful, and dignified daily life for our residents. You provide individually adapted care and are there as a support in both big and small matters, always with the resident in focus. You work closely with colleagues, where together you contribute to ensuring that every resident feels seen, involved, and respected. In this role, you are also responsible for documentation according to current guidelines. Common tasks will include:

  • Providing support with personal care, hygiene, and daily activities
  • Creating a pleasant atmosphere and social interaction based on each person's needs and wishes
  • Performing delegated health and medical tasks in consultation with licensed personnel
  • Following implementation plans and documenting in our journal system
  • Contact and collaboration with colleagues, nurses, and relatives

The position is during the summer with varying degrees of employment. Please write in your application how much you wish to work. Since our operations determine the working hours, they may be scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends.

About you

To succeed in this job, we see that you have:

  • A high school diploma from the Care and Nursing program and a protected professional title as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively, that you are studying to become a nursing assistant.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
  • Basic computer skills, and the ability to use email, Word, and work in operational systems.

Previous experience in care and nursing work is an advantage. As a person, you find joy in supporting people in their daily lives and thrive working closely with them. With a listening and respectful approach, you build trusting relationships and create security. You are flexible, have a positive attitude, and contribute to an environment where both residents and colleagues can develop and thrive.

About the recruitment process

In the event of employment, you must present extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register, as well as a valid photo ID. You are responsible for ordering the extract via the Police website. The extract required is named "Work in homes with elderly and persons with disabilities".

If you are called for an interview, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
