• You drive technical decisions regarding the architecture, design, and implementation of embedded systems.
• You develop solutions close to the hardware and work with operating systems, microcontrollers, and hardware-near programming.
• You create robust and scalable solutions with a focus on quality, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• You work with operating systems for embedded environments, such as Embedded Linux and FreeRTOS.
• You contribute to the development of device drivers and work with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
• You collaborate closely with development teams and other stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet technical requirements and function well in practice.
• You contribute to a modern way of working through unit testing, agile methods, and DevOps principles.

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field
• Experience with operating systems for embedded systems, such as Embedded Linux and FreeRTOS
• Experience with CMake and/or Make
• Very good knowledge of C/C++
• Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART
• Experience with microcontrollers
• Experience with device driver development
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with agile development methods
• Experience with System on Modules (SoM)
• Experience with DevOps working methods
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)

• Experience with Yocto
• Knowledge of and experience working with electrical schematics
