You will step into a technically advanced environment within the defense industry, where software development places high demands on traceability, quality, and control. As a Software Configuration Manager, you will become a central part of the work to create order, stability, and clear working methods throughout the entire development chain.

You will work closely with project management, system owners, and development teams to ensure that the software is developed according to established processes and that releases, documentation, and baselines are handled in a structured manner. Here, you will combine technical understanding with process responsibility in a business where your work makes a clear difference for delivery quality and control.

• You develop and update software development plans and configuration management plans for projects.
• You drive and develop configuration management work, including routines, follow-up, and reporting.
• You are responsible for version control and ensure that software releases are built with the correct content.
• You create release notes in connection with software releases and ensure that the documentation is complete and quality-assured.
• You establish and maintain project archives and set up and manage baselines.
• You ensure that included components have undergone approved tests and reviews before delivery.
• You follow up on the status of problem reports and contribute with data for measurement and follow-up.
• You manage and maintain build environments for various projects and work to ensure that working methods are effective and sustainable over time.

• At least 5 years of experience in configuration management within development activities, technical industry, or the software domain.
• A degree in Engineering (Civilingenjör) or University College Engineer, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience in configuration control and version control within software development.
• Experience working with build environments.
• Good experience with Azure DevOps and associated working methods.
• Experience working in PDM systems.
• Ability to work structured with processes, documentation, and quality control.
• Good communication skills and experience collaborating with several different stakeholders in a project environment.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance check (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted).

• Experience with business systems such as SAP or similar.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Experience from the defense industry or other technically advanced development activities.
