We are currently hiring both senior and junior system technicians within several different areas.
Main Responsibilities
As a system technician, you play a key role where, together with your colleagues, you are responsible for parts of the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems. Your tasks include system administration, troubleshooting, handling log flows and system logging, as well as managing backups.
We work in a process-oriented manner (ITIL) supported by agile methods. The position involves continuous learning of new technologies and products, all with the aim of strengthening Sweden's defense. Employees within the Swedish Armed Forces are given time for further development both internally and externally.

Qualifications
- At least upper secondary education with an IT focus or equivalent knowledge, as assessed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience with Linux servers.
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
- Swedish citizenship.
- Class B driver's license.
Meritorious
- Experience in designing IT system log management.
- Experience with Windows Server.
- Experience with log collection, storage, indexing, enrichment, and analysis.
- Experience with Elastic Search, Beats, Logstash, Kibana, Apache Kafka, Sysmon, or equivalent.

As a person, you have the ability to work both in a team and independently. You are unpretentious, meticulous, helpful, have good analytical skills, strive to work with high quality, and have a strong interest in IT. As we are undergoing a change process, it is important that you are engaged and have the ability to turn ideas into concrete tasks that drive our operations forward. For us, it is important that we have a positive attitude, that we help each other, and that everyone does their best. At times, the workload is high, which means you must be stress-resistant.

Other
The position is a permanent civil employment with the location in Örebro. Start date as soon as possible or according to agreement. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a 6-month probationary period for those who have not previously been employed by the Swedish Armed Forces. Travel and business trips occur in the position.
