Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and experienced .NET developer to participate in exciting projects within an advanced robot system. As a key member of our dynamic and agile team, you will be part of the development of a product that is already technologically world-leading at Saab.

As a .NET developer, you will play a central role in further developing several test and maintenance equipment units into an advanced ground-based air defense system. The system is currently undergoing an upgrade and will in the future be integrated into several different solutions.

Through close collaboration with experienced colleagues, you are expected to contribute to the team with your skills and experience, but you will also receive support and the opportunity to learn and grow into your role. You will be involved throughout the entire development cycle and be able to engage in different parts of the process, including system work, requirements management, design, testing/verification, debugging, and delivery. You will also have the opportunity to test different roles within our agile methodology and development process.

Together, you are responsible for the software at various levels, from hardware-near to application and user interface. The position is located in Karlskoga.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and software development and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. You are driven by problem-solving and motivated by finding efficient and sustainable solutions, regardless of which tools are used.

To succeed in the role, you have at least five years of experience in C#/.NET development as well as experience with WPF or XAML. You also have basic knowledge of C and C++ and have worked with software testing and quality assurance within one of these languages. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working in agile teams where collaboration, continuous development, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. Experience with Qt is also important, and if you have also worked with hardware-near programming, we see it as an advantage.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the currently applicable regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
