RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be part of building tomorrow's data center?

We are looking for an engaged and technically driven Network Engineer who wants to work with modern network solutions within Software Defined Networking (SDN), virtualization, and data center infrastructure. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop and manage a business-critical platform where VMware NSX and Data Fabric are central components.

As a Network Engineer, you will work with the design, operation, development, and troubleshooting of our network and data center platform. You will become an important part of a team responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance in a complex and modern IT environment.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

  • Operation and management of VMware NSX environments
  • Configuration and development of networks within VMware Cloud Foundation
  • Management of Data Fabric solutions for modern data centers
  • Design and implementation of network segmentation and security solutions
  • Troubleshooting and incident management within networking and virtualization
  • Automation and optimization of network-related processes
  • Collaboration with specialists in server, storage, security, and cloud services

QUALIFICATIONS

You should have:

  • Current work experience and at least 3 years of work experience in advanced network operations in larger IT environments
  • Documented experience and knowledge in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN is meritorious)
  • At least 2 years of current work experience with VMware NSX-T or NSX
  • Documented experience and high knowledge in data center networking and virtualized environments
  • Work experience in automation using, for example, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
  • Experience with Aria Suite
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
  • Experience with Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation
  • Ability to document, analyze, and solve complex technical problems

The role requires you to be self-sufficient and take responsibility for your tasks from start to finish.

Employment type: Permanent employment.

This position is located in the IT/IOS/DCÖrebro section. Based on the operations' conditions, there is an opportunity to work some time from home.

The employment is permanent and usually begins with a six-month probationary period. The start date will be agreed upon.

This position is security-classified, so we will conduct a security investigation with register control before we make a decision on employment.
