We believe that progress and opportunities are best created together. Welcome to a place where collaboration makes a difference.

Saab Dynamics is growing, and with an increasingly complex external environment and requirement landscape, we are now strengthening our information and cyber security group with a Compliance Officer specialized in IT/information security and signal security.

Your Role

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a central role in interpreting and adhering to national and international regulations, standards, as well as customer and internal security requirements. In this role, you will work closely with operations on compliance related to critical IT and OT environments, and together with the Dynamics Signal Security Manager, you will drive the strategic and operational signal security work.

The role involves a combination of work within IT and information security-related compliance as well as signal security. You will contribute to developing and strengthening work within IT and information security, signal security, and security protection in an international context where advanced security threats, complex requirement sets, and projects with high business impact are part of everyday life.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpreting, applying, and monitoring requirements within IT/information security and driving necessary compliance work.
  • Working with signal security-related issues.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of processes, routines, and governance.
  • Providing advice and recommendations and supporting operations in matters related to compliance, IT/information security, security protection, and signal security.
  • Participating in risk work, training initiatives, certifications, audits, and reviews.
  • Serving as an expert resource in projects affected by compliance requirements and/or signal security.
  • Collaborating with other business areas, units, and departments (such as IT, security, legal, procurement, and production) within Dynamics as well as other parts of Saab.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have experience with compliance related to IT security or information security, preferably from an operation with high demands on confidentiality and regulatory compliance. You have likely worked in a compliance-driven environment where external requirements, regulations, or government oversight are a natural part of everyday life, and you have developed the ability to translate these into practical solutions in operations.

You are comfortable in dialogues regarding IT, digitalization, and information management. Furthermore, you have knowledge of how organizations collaborate with authorities and what security structures look like in regulated operations.

Regardless of background, it is important that you have a good understanding of requirement and regulatory compliance in an IT context, and are familiar with information security issues and signal security. If you also have experience with security protection, security-classified information, or the defense industry, it is an advantage, as is experience with OT/production systems. You have a post-secondary degree. Certifications within information or IT security are seen as a plus.

To thrive and succeed in the role, you are a person who takes responsibility, works systematically, and has the ability to drive issues forward independently. You have a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach and can balance the operation's needs with high security requirements. Furthermore, you have high integrity and a strong security awareness, and you build trust through your way of collaborating and communicating with different parts of the organization. The role presupposes that you have very good communication skills in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

As the advertisement is posted over the summer, feedback on your application may be delayed until the end of August. We thank you for your patience and look forward to receiving your application.
