We make society function for people on the road, on rails, in the air, and at sea. That is why we need the best competence. Our mission is important and has significance in everyday life – for both private individuals and businesses. At our organization, we take responsibility, treat everyone well, and respect differences. As an employee, you contribute to a sustainable future.

About the Job

We are now looking for a Software/Solution Architect based in Örebro who wants the opportunity to work with societal-critical systems that make a real difference! The Unit for Business-Related IT Solutions 1 is responsible for supporting the departments of Sea and Air Transport, Driver's Licenses, and Road and Rail, as well as the Vehicle Information department. Our product areas bring together operations and IT around a shared responsibility for the development, maintenance, and long-term further development of our solutions. Depending on needs, other areas may also become relevant.

In the role of Software/Solution Architect, you combine development with growing responsibility for architecture issues and work closely with both frontend and backend in a modern tech stack. You will become part of an experienced agile team that works broadly with requirements, design, implementation, test automation, and direction-setting. As a software architect, you combine architectural responsibility with continued operational work in the codebase. You help shape the structure and implementation of systems, contribute to design decisions, support the team in technical matters, and drive long-term sustainable solutions. Together with the team, you ensure that realization follows the decided solution and target architecture, with the mindset that architecture is developed iteratively in close collaboration and not as something static that is handed over.

We are looking for you who are passionate about software/solution architecture and want to work in an organization where societal benefit comes first!

You are important to us

Do you like working with others and do you want to develop in your professional role? Here you can expect career development, a trusting management and employee relationship, and a sustainable working life. We are a secure employer that cares about your health with time for wellness activities during working hours, flexible working hours, a generous number of vacation days, and free bridging days.
