Stenbocksskolan is centrally located in Ulricehamn and has approximately 620 students in grades 7-9. The school is organized into three work teams, each led by a principal and consisting of a special needs educator, a special needs teacher, an after-school leader, as well as dedicated pedagogues and student assistants. At our school, safety, participation, and good relationships are at the center. Together, we create a school environment where students have the opportunity to develop, feel a sense of community, and succeed both socially and academically.

Job Responsibilities
This is a new position that Stenbocksskolan is establishing to further strengthen our safety work.
We already have a well-developed safety work with after-school leaders responsible for the school's break areas and a safety coordinator who leads and organizes the school's safety-promoting work. Now we are looking for you who want to be a positive and present force in the school's corridors and common areas.
There are approximately 600 students and 80 employees at the school, distributed across three work teams. A large part of the role involves being actively present in the school's common environments during the school day. Between 15:15 and 16:00, planning, implementation, and evaluation of activities are included.
Your main responsibilities:
- Be a visible, accessible, and safe adult who builds trusting relationships with the students.
- Promote a positive school culture through active presence in corridors and common areas.
- Work preventively to identify and reduce risks that affect safety and study environment.
- Act in the event of incidents and contribute to ensuring the school's rules of order are followed.
- Mediate in conflicts and work to prevent harassment, bullying, and violence.
- Collaborate with students, guardians, student health services, and external actors to strengthen safety at the school.
- Actively promote the school's value base and rules of order in everyday meetings with the students.
- Plan, implement, and develop activities based on an activity calendar that includes, among other things, school-wide events and concludes with the grade 9 graduation week.
- Contribute to creating meaningful contexts that strengthen the students' participation, well-being, and sense of community.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have education as a social worker, an after-school leader with at least 200 YH (University College) credits in social pedagogy, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience working with young people in organized activities, preferably within schools, youth clubs, residential care facilities, or the security sector with a focus on social safety.
Merits for the position:
- Experience working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).
- Education or experience in motivational interviewing.
- Experience in safety and value-based work in a school environment.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-18.
