E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy group E.ON SE, headquartered in Essen, Germany. Around 70,000 people work within the group across 17 countries. Around 2,100 dedicated employees work throughout Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters are located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to just over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward so that more people can transition. With our investments and our customers' willingness to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meeting future energy needs.

Welcome to E.ON – and become part of the energy transition. In collaboration with our customers and partners, we ensure that electricity and heat are produced, used, and recycled more intelligently. If you have passion and believe in the power of working together, E.ON is the place for you.

About Us
Do you want to help shape the energy systems of the future? At E.ON, you will work in a business where digitalization, automation, and robust technical solutions are a key part of the energy transition, and where your contribution makes a difference.

We are now looking for an OT Service Owner with a focus on local grid components. As power grids develop towards increased digitalization, flexibility, and automation, OT plays an increasingly important role in ensuring a stable, secure, and future-proof power grid. Here, you will become a key part of the work to develop and manage OT-related services that support our local grid components, such as RTUs, relay protection, remote control, and other critical parts of the local grid.

Your Role
As an OT Service Owner, you have overall responsibility for the commissioning, development, and management of OT-related services linked to our local grid components. You ensure that the services function in a robust, secure, and sustainable manner over time – from planning and implementation to operation, further development, and decommissioning of old technology.

In this role, you work closely with the business, IT, suppliers, and technical specialist functions. You contribute to translating business needs into clear requirements, solutions, and ways of working, while creating structure around responsibilities, processes, and follow-up. This may involve driving requirement setting and development of technical solutions, following up on suppliers and contracts, working with lifecycle management, and ensuring that services meet requirements related to IT/OT security, availability, robustness, and relevant standards.

You will also be a key player in projects within local grid automation, digitalization, and smart grids. Here, you will contribute both technical understanding and a holistic perspective that helps us develop solutions that are long-term sustainable for the business. This role suits you if you thrive on the boundary between power systems and the IT/OT domain, operations and management, and want to help create clarity, progress, and collaboration in a complex but meaningful daily life.

Your Experience
We believe you have a technical education in areas such as power systems, automation, IT/OT, electrical engineering, or similar, or that you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience. You have experience working in OT, power systems, industrial control systems, or similar technical environments, and have an understanding of components and solutions in the local grid, such as RTUs, relay protection, remote control, or communication solutions.

You also have experience working systematically with requirements, processes, and suppliers, preferably in a role related to service management, system ownership, or technical responsibility. To thrive in this role, we see that you have a good understanding of IT/OT security and how IT and OT interact in critical environments. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have experience in local grid automation, smart grids, or work in a regulated business. It is also positive if you have knowledge of relevant standards, such as IEC, EBR, or IEC 61850, or if you have worked in agile ways of working or DevOps-like environments.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and curious about how technology and ways of working can be developed together. You thrive in collaborations where multiple perspectives need to be weighed together and have the ability to create clarity even when questions are complex. You are strategic when needed, but also have the ability to go into operations to create progress. With your communication skills, you build trust and contribute to different parts of the business working towards common goals.

What is it like working with us?
Your manager Selma leads with openness, trust, and psychological safety, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow in their roles. Our team is flat-hierarchical, supportive, and happy to share knowledge, which is particularly valuable since we often work as experts in different locations. We have fun together and value work-life balance – because when we feel good, we perform sustainably.

At E.ON, we actively work on inclusion – it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continue to challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive.

We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is just as important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal sustainability. Therefore, we offer good benefits so that you feel good and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include a reduced working week that is higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more!

You are warmly welcome to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The last day for applications is June 24.

As we work with socially important operations, the position is security-classified, which means a security clearance check will be conducted before employment.
