In the role of Automation Engineer, you will work with support and development of the production process with a focus on automation. You will implement new automation solutions, optimize production flows, and conduct reviews and improvements of machines and equipment.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Work on continuous process improvements, implement new automation solutions to optimize processes and improve ergonomics for operators.
• Efficiency and quality assurance of processes.
• Implement product changes and create work instructions.
• Specify requirements for tools and fixtures, as well as commissioning new equipment.
• Maintain existing automated systems and introduce necessary improvements and changes.
• Train staff on how the production process works.
• Program robots and PLCs.

Requirements

• Relevant engineering degree.
• Some years of experience in the field.
• Experience with B&R and ST is an advantage.
• Preference for experience in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting complex automation systems.
• Ability to work independently, structure code, and follow established standards.
• Communicative and accustomed to working in a team.
• Good communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
