Do you want to help create structure and long-term sustainability in the technical management of one of Malmö's largest property portfolios? We are now looking for a Technical Manager for Stena Fastigheter in Malmö.

About the role

As a Technical Manager, you will be our specialist in technical management. You play a key role in ensuring structured, long-term, and business-oriented technical management of Stena Fastigheter's property portfolio in Malmö, Lund, Lomma, Bjärred, and Landskrona. You will be based at the office in Malmö, belong organizationally to the energy department, and report to the Head of Energy.

The role is strongly rooted in the daily operations across the areas, and you are expected to be on-site regularly, alternating between the different property management offices. You will be the one tying together technical working methods, regulatory requirements, maintenance plans, and documentation, providing clear support to the management and reducing technical risks.

We are constantly working to make things smarter and easier, including using AI, and we hope you are curious and enjoy testing new ways of working.

Some of your most important tasks:

• Responsible for creating structure, standards, and efficient working methods within technical management.
• Act as technical support and a key sounding board in the management organization.
• Be pedagogical in your role and contribute to raising the competence level regarding technical issues within the management.
• Create and follow up on maintenance plans (short- and long-term).
• Plan, budget, and forecast costs for operations and maintenance.
• Lead and execute technical projects, such as renovations and conversions.
• Procure and coordinate contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that laws, regulatory requirements, and safety regulations are followed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with several years of experience from technical management, operations, construction, or installation projects, or a similar role within the real estate industry. You have a good understanding of building and installation technology and are accustomed to reading and interpreting technical drawings, descriptions, and inspection reports.

The most important thing is that you are structured and analytical, enjoy creating order and long-term planning, and simultaneously have the ability to make technical questions understandable to both property owners, managers, and executives.

It is not a requirement that you can configure control and regulation systems or perform advanced energy calculations yourself – support is available in the energy group.

We believe you:

• Have relevant technical education, for example in construction, HVAC, installation, or property technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Have worked with system support such as maintenance systems, fault reporting systems, or facility registers.
• Are communicative and pedagogical when interacting with different professional roles.
• Are proactive and persistent, following issues all the way through to implementation and follow-up.
• Are business-minded and can link technical measures to risk, customer benefit, and economics.
