Do you want to combine your welding expertise with responsibility for quality, process development, and team leadership? We are now looking for an experienced welding specialist who wants to take a key role in a modern manufacturing operation where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are high on the agenda.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop the welding work while being an active part of daily production. You will become an important knowledge resource for the business and contribute to ensuring that work is performed according to current requirements, standards, and customer specifications.

About the Role

As responsible for the welding area, you work with both operational and coordinating tasks. You are responsible for ensuring that welding processes function efficiently, that documentation is kept up to date, and that quality requirements are met throughout the entire manufacturing chain.

The position involves close collaboration with production, quality, and other support functions to create an efficient and well-functioning operation.

Examples of Tasks

• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on work within the welding area
• Ensure that welding instructions, procedures, and quality documents are used correctly
• Support and monitor employees' certifications, training, and competence development
• Handle quality deviations and participate in investigations and corrective actions
• Identify improvement opportunities within production and working methods
• Participate in welding and practical workshop work as needed
• Promote a safe working environment and be responsible for the condition and function of equipment
• Coordinate work with other departments to optimize production and delivery flows

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 07:00–16:30, Friday 07:00–12:30

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a solid background in industrial welding and feel comfortable in a role where you combine technical knowledge with responsibility and coordination. You are a person who works systematically, has high quality awareness, and enjoys driving improvement initiatives.

We believe that you:

• Have several years of experience from welding industry
• Have a strong technical interest and good understanding of manufacturing processes
• Are accustomed to reading drawings and control measurements
• Enjoy supporting colleagues and taking responsibility for workflows
• Have experience in quality work and document control
• Are comfortable with digital systems and administrative documentation
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and can handle basic English in work

Qualifications

• Technical education in workshop, welding, or equivalent work experience
• Practical experience with TIG, MAG, and orbital welding
• Certification in VT-2 and/or PT-2
• Competence equivalent to IWS, IWT, or IWE
• Experience with machining tasks such as cutting, drilling, and threading
• Good knowledge of reading drawings and measurement technology
• Class B driver's license
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Good computer skills
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written)

Meritorious Experience

• Valid welding licenses for stainless steel materials
• Previous experience in team leadership or production responsibility
• Knowledge in Lean Production, Six Sigma, or similar improvement methods
• Experience with business and production systems, e.g., Monitor
