Nymölla Mill is Hiring Maintenance Manager for the Pulp Mill
Sylvamo Nymölla Mill is located two miles east of Kristianstad in Bromölla Municipality. The mill produces paper pulp using the Magnefit method and uncoated fine paper. Multicopy is our most well-known product. The production capacity is 340,000 tons of pulp and 475,000 tons of fine paper.

Maintenance is a central part of our operations, and we are currently undergoing a major organizational development to strengthen both preventive and improvement-oriented maintenance.
We are now looking for an engaged and experienced Maintenance Manager for the pulp mill – a key role where you will have the opportunity to influence the development of the maintenance department.
You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, technical development, and sustainable maintenance work.
You will be part of the maintenance department's leadership team, working alongside colleagues responsible for other parts of our maintenance operations.
Your Assignment
As Maintenance Manager, you have overall responsibility for maintenance within the pulp mill.
You will:
- lead an organization of approximately 50 employees
- develop operations together with your subordinate managers and engineers in both automation and mechanical fields
- be responsible for planning, budgeting, and follow-up
- ensure the facility meets requirements regarding safety, environment, and quality
- drive improvement work and technical development
- collaborate closely with production, projects, and external partners
We are looking for someone who...
- has a technical education in areas such as automation or mechanics
- has several years of experience in maintenance work in an industrial environment, preferably process industry
- has leadership experience and thrives in a role with responsibility for both people and operations
- works in a structured manner and has a strong focus on safety
- is proficient in maintenance systems and improvement work (e.g., TPM)
- fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
