About the Role
Do you want a key role in shaping future operational reliability? To our production facility in Helsingborg, we are now looking for an analytical and driven Maintenance Engineer for a modern chemical process industry that wants to optimize our availability with a focus on the highest safety.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Develop maintenance strategies: Drive and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Root cause analysis: Lead technical investigations in the event of failures and recurring problems.
- Focus on process safety: Ensure that legal requirements and internal procedures are followed regarding pressure vessels, pipelines, and classified areas (ATEX).
- System responsibility: Analyze data, follow up on key performance indicators, and develop our maintenance system SAP.
- Project participation: Participate in investment projects and major renovations.
About the Position
As a maintenance engineer with us, you work strategically and operationally to minimize unplanned stoppages and maximize the plant's lifespan. You belong to the maintenance department and work in close collaboration with production, process safety, and project managers.
Who are you?

Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in maintenance work within process or manufacturing industry (preferably chemicals, refinery, paper/pulp, or pharmaceuticals).
- Good understanding of mechanical equipment in chemical environments (pumps, valves, reactors, piping systems).
- Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
Meritorious:
- Experience with risk assessments (HAZOP) and regulations regarding hazardous chemicals (Seveso Directive).
- Knowledge in vibration measurement, oil analysis, or thermography.
- Experience with reliability-centered maintenance methodology.
