Your Responsibilities

As a Child Welfare Case Worker, you are responsible for investigating the needs of children and young people for protection and support according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), as well as following up on interventions to ensure they lead to the desired change. The work is carried out in close collaboration with children, guardians, service providers, and other partners.

We are looking for

You who have a degree in Social Work. Experience in authority enforcement within social services, preferably with children and young people, is meritorious but not required. You have the ability to make independent decisions and to express yourself clearly and professionally, both orally and in writing. You have a respectful and empathetic approach and can build trusting relationships even in difficult situations. To thrive and function well in the role, you are structured and have the ability to prioritize and create overview in a varied workload.

As a new employee, you will receive an individually adapted introduction plan. In daily work, you have close support from the Senior Social Secretary and Unit Manager, as well as access to regular supervision. You are given good conditions to grow in your professional role, including participation in "Yrkesresan" (The Professional Journey) and continuous competence development. We also see collegial learning as an important part of our development.
