Do you want to work in a business-oriented and analytical role where you can combine financial monitoring with business development?
We are now looking for a Business Controller for a leading international operation within the nuclear industry. Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with both the operations and management in a role with significant responsibility and good development opportunities.
About the role
As a Business Controller, you are responsible for analyzing and monitoring the financial development of the business and supporting the organization with economic issues. You work closely with both local and global functions and contribute decision support that creates business value and drives the business forward.
The role also includes some tasks within project controlling and offers great opportunities to contribute to the development and digitalization of financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and relevant key performance indicators within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure correct and transparent reporting of the business's financial status to management and stakeholders.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
- Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring work.
- Support the business in financial and commercial matters.
- Work with project monitoring and project controlling.
- Collaborate closely with Business Administration and other commercial functions both locally and globally.
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development and digitalization of economic processes and working methods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience within Business Controlling, accounting, financial management, or a similar area.
- Very good skills in Excel and a strong interest in data analysis and digital tools.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is advantageous.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Good analytical ability and experience working with complex financial information.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
