The position is a full-time temporary assignment starting on August 10, 2026, and running until June 11, 2027. There is a possibility of extension based on the needs of the operations.

Your Role

As a teacher at Västra School, you will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the national curriculum. You will be part of a work team where, together with your colleagues, you create a stimulating learning environment for the students during the school day. You will conduct developmental conferences and maintain contact with guardians. The role also includes mentorship duties.

Your Experience

  • Qualification to teach in grades Pre-K to 3.
  • You plan your lessons well in advance and take possible changes into account.
  • You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in daily work.
  • You adapt your pedagogical methods based on the individual needs of students or the needs of the student group.

About the Workplace

We are a school with 360 students, of whom 200 are enrolled in the after-school program. Our after-school program is divided into two sections: one for Pre-K to Grade 1 and one for Grade 2 to 6. Around 50 employees work together at the school to create a safe, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed and develop.
