About the role

Do you want to make a difference for students who need a smaller and more adapted learning environment to succeed?

Kävlinge Municipality is looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish and an additional subject to join our municipality-wide teaching group for students with autism in grades 7–9.

The teaching group is located in its own school building, directly adjacent to Korsbackaskolan. Approximately 15 students attend here, needing a smaller and more predictable learning environment while still being part of the school community. Students take their practical-aesthetic subjects at Korsbackaskolan, and we actively work to create smooth transitions between the activities.

About the assignment

As a teacher here, you will teach Swedish and an additional subject based on your qualifications. You will work in close collaboration with colleagues, student health services, and guardians to create conditions for the students' knowledge development and well-being.

The team already includes a qualified teacher in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as well as a qualified teacher in Social Studies and English. We are now looking for you to complement the team with Swedish and another area of competence.

We are looking for someone who

• is a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish
• has qualifications in an additional subject, such as mathematics, English, Social Studies, Natural Sciences, or another subject for grades 7–9
• has experience with or an interest in working with students with autism
• views accessible teaching as a natural part of your assignment
• is confident in adapting teaching based on students' different needs
• thrives in close collaboration with colleagues and student health services

About the employment

Before employment, we will ask you to present an extract from the Police Register of Offences. The extract we require is "School or preschool" and you need to request it yourself, which you can find on the police website: Criminal Record - Request Extract | Swedish Police Authority (polisen.se)

Once you have your extract, you present it to the recruiting manager. The fastest way to get your extract is to use the e-service and order it online with BankID.

You will also need to show a passport or a national ID card issued by the police during the interview.

Kävlinge Municipality has 11 primary schools. Korsbackaskolan is a grades 7–9 school centrally located within walking distance of the train station in Kävlinge. The school hosts a sports academy in collaboration with Malmö FF.
