RESPONSIBILITIES

The position includes teaching mathematics, natural sciences, and technology for grades 7–9. You are responsible for planning, implementation, as well as systematic follow-up and evaluation of the teaching and students' learning. The assignment also includes mentorship.

You will become part of a work team where collaboration and shared responsibility for the students' development are central. In addition to responsibility for your own teaching, you are expected to contribute actively to the school's development work by participating in various development processes.

There is an opportunity for a time-limited senior teacher assignment with the possibility of extension. In the role of senior teacher, you will, together with another senior teacher, lead a subject network within Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MaNO) with a special focus on a language- and knowledge-developing approach. You will also be part of the school's development group consisting of the school's senior teachers and school management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who:

• are a licensed teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Technology for grades 7–9
• have clear leadership skills and work to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• reflect on teaching and learn from successes and setbacks
• recognize each student's needs and take individual prerequisites into account so that every student can develop and succeed

Personal suitability is given great weight. Experience in leading school development is an advantage.
