On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Contracting Engineer who wants to work on some of the most complex infrastructure projects in Greater Stockholm, with a focus on concrete. Here you will become part of an established organization with extensive experience in executing contracts for municipalities, authorities, and other professional clients, where quality, planning, and business acumen are crucial for the success of the projects.

This is a role for you who wants to help steer projects from the inside. You work closely with the site manager and project management and have a central function in ensuring that economics, administration, and contracts follow production throughout the entire contract.

About the position

As a Contracting Engineer, you play an important role in the project organization and serve as support in both the technical and economic management of the projects. You are responsible for creating structure, monitoring the project's development, and contributing to making the right decisions at the right time.

• Monitoring project economics and final cost forecasts
• Handling and monitoring Variation Orders (ÄTA)
• Purchasing and contracts within assigned areas of responsibility
• Documentation and project administration
• Monitoring quality and environmental work
• Collaboration with the site manager and the rest of the project organization to ensure efficient execution

You will primarily work on projects involving concrete structures within infrastructure, where high technical requirements are combined with significant economic responsibility.

We are looking for you who

Have experience from construction or infrastructure contracting and thrive in a role where technology, economics, and project management meet. You have an understanding of how contracts are driven and appreciate working close to production while maintaining good control over the administrative and economic aspects.

• Engineering degree or other relevant education
• Experience from construction or infrastructure production
• Good knowledge of construction technology and reading drawings
• Experience with cost estimation, economic monitoring, and purchasing
• Knowledge of contract law and contract management (AB, AMA, and MER standards)
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and responsible. You work methodically, have a business-minded approach, and understand the importance of creating order in projects with many stakeholders and large economic values.
