Are you a communicative person with previous experience of being the hub of the wheel within construction and property projects? Entrecon Consulting has several requests from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/contracting engineers in construction and property.

We receive applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and customers. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignment at the customer's site.

The Assignment

In the role of contracting engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring that everything runs smoothly in production together with the project manager and site manager, as well as support functions. You will work broadly and be responsible for, among other things, production planning, project economics, and contract administration. You will also participate in purchasing, attend construction meetings, communicate with client representatives, and handle financial adjustments with the client and subcontractors. As a contracting engineer, you participate in all stages of the client's construction or infrastructure project, from the planning stage to the technical completion of the project. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage tenders, prepare cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documents. QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) issues may also be part of the tasks.

Competence

We are looking for you who have at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience in:

• Forecasting and costing
• Project economics, schedules, work preparation
• Resource allocation, purchasing, and ÄTA (Agreement on Time, Cost, and Quality)
• QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment)

You have a post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through work experience.

We also see that you have good knowledge of contracting law and technical competence, negotiation skills, and are accustomed to working with profitability and business-mindedness in focus. Other competencies we value are your ability to build relationships and networks, as well as your ability to adapt to changing circumstances. We require a valid driver's license (Category B) and good IT skills.
